Saturday, 22nd, Cougar Tour - Meet behind Gateway Fred Meyers @ 9:15am. We'll head over to Vancouver and meet up with the Mustang Club at the Cameo Restaurant. Our first stop will be The Ridgefield Sanctuary. Afterwards lunch at the Oak Tree, then a pleasant tour to Cougar, WA to see the private collection of some 100 plus cars. After the tuir those that wish can follow us back to the Vancouver area for an ice cream treat. If the weather doesn't cooperate, just bring the old sedan. This tour will still be fun, just not as much if the tops aren't down. The Mustang Club and some of our members have see this collection and all say it is quite spectacular. August — Preregistration is open for the Rockin’ Round the Block Car Show, returning to downtown Gresham this year on Aug. 14. The fundraiser for Mt. Hood Community College’s automotive technology program will feature specialty cars and trucks, free kids activities, live music, vendors and a cruise down Main Street.
    The event, returning after a hiatus last year, has raised more than $100,000 for automotive student scholarships over 11 years.
    Bed races, in which teams push a customized bed and pajama-wearing rider, kick off the event Friday, Aug. 13. Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. Saturday, and the festivities conclude with a 3 p.m. trophy presentation and subsequent Main Street Cruise.
    Registration is $10 in advance, or $15 at the event.
